How We Can Serve
Live in a Facility
For healthy and vibrant living with peace.
At Shalom, we provide facilities where you can live with peace of mind. We operate five paid senior homes called “Hareruya” and one group home. We offer not only caregiving and nursing services but also daily meals with a wide variety of menu options.
“Hareruya (晴れる家)” is derived from the word “Hallelujah.”
Hareruya
Each facility of Hareruya offers unique features such as “Assisted Living Senior Residence” “Rehabilitation-focused,” “Dementia Care,” and “Nursing Home with 24-hour Nurse Presence.” You can choose the facility that best suits the physical condition of the resident. If the condition changes, you can be reassured that you can transfer between facilities for a seamless transition.
Group Home
It is a small-scale home where individuals with dementia can reside. Through communal living, we focus on alleviating and improving symptoms. A nurse is present during the day to provide care and support. You can enjoy your daily life in a homely atmosphere with peace of mind.
Introduction Video
Presence of Chaplains
Chaplains are staff members who not only provide emotional care but also support spiritual well-being by understanding the feelings and concerns of our residents and their families.
Our residents are encouraged to share their joys and anxieties, expressing their current feelings openly. Chaplains are available to sing hymns together and offer prayers, according to the residents’ preferences.
We believe that nurturing the spiritual aspect of our residents’ lives is an essential part of their overall well-being, and our Chaplains are here to provide comfort, guidance, and spiritual support throughout their stay.
The Difference Between Senior Homes and Group Homes
Senior Homes:
Senior homes, also known as paid senior residences, are living facilities that cater to elderly individuals as a whole. Within the Harelu House series, there are two types of senior homes available: residential-type senior homes and senior homes with caregiving services. You can choose a residence that suits your needs based on factors such as rehabilitation focus, 24-hour nursing care availability, and level of required caregiving or medical support.
Group Homes:
Group homes are residential accommodations specifically designed for elderly individuals with dementia. The primary goal of these homes is to stabilize unsettling conditions and slow down the progression of dementia symptoms. Residents share household responsibilities and engage in communal living, creating a supportive and homely environment.
Short-Term Stay
At Hareruya, we also offer the option of Short Stay accommodations.
Short Stay refers to the service where individuals can stay at our facility for a minimum of 1 night and a maximum of 30 days when there is a sudden need for monitoring or caregiving due to unexpected events or hospitalization. During the stay, residents can receive the necessary care and support.
If there are circumstances that make it difficult for you or your loved one to live alone at home, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately. We are here to assist you without any hesitation.
Day Care Service
Shalom offers six different day care services, each with its own unique features.
We have rehabilitation-focused services, dementia care services, inclusive services for individuals with disabilities, as well as leisure-oriented day services that allow you to enjoy your hobbies at your own pace.
We provide day care services that cater to the needs and preferences of our clients, ensuring a personalized experience.
Visiting Care
“I want to live in my familiar home until the end.”
In order to meet the heartfelt desire shared by many, our team of home helpers, nurses, and therapists will provide support for your daily life by visiting your own home.
We are committed to providing “individualized care” that is tailored to the thoughts and needs of our clients, ensuring that their preferences are respected and their well-being is prioritized.
Visiting Care
Our home helpers will visit your home from our five locations in Sakai City, providing assistance with household chores and physical caregiving. We are dedicated to addressing the concerns and needs of your family regarding caregiving and providing guidance on how to care for your loved ones. Our goal is to support you and your family in living a vibrant and fulfilling life every day.
Visiting Nurse
We have a total of four bases for our visiting nursing stations, located in Sakai City and Osaka City. We understand that many individuals desire to live in their familiar homes even with illnesses or disabilities, but at the same time, they may experience anxiety. Visiting nursing aims to alleviate those concerns and support their desires. Our goal is to increase “peace of mind” through compassionate nursing care and bring smiles to their faces.
Visiting Rehab
Qualified rehabilitation specialists with national certifications will visit your home to provide rehabilitation guidance. Physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists will support you from the rehabilitation of your physical and cognitive functions to providing tips for easier movements in daily life, all from a professional perspective.
※Visits from staff specializing in pediatric rehabilitation (physical therapists and occupational therapists) are also possible. For more details, please contact us.
